We are huge lovers of no-bake cookies. They have such a different taste and texture from regular cookies. The fact that you don’t have to spend a lot of time baking cookie sheet after cookie sheet is pretty nice also. Sometimes you want something sweet but don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Caramel No-Bake Cookies is the perfect recipe for such times!
It is also the perfect recipe for a work carry-in or tailgating party. Something quick and easy that you can make the night before that still tastes moist and delicious the next day. What’s not to love?
Caramel No-Bake Cookies
We love this spin on the traditional no-bake cookie. These Caramel No-Bake Cookies have such a caramel and toffee flavor to them that you don’t normally find in a no-bake cookie. Such a great and unexpected change. They really resemble your traditional no-bake cookie, but boy they don’t taste like it!
This recipe calls for a few items that you might not have on hand and will have to purchase before making. You will need toffee chips which you will find right with the chocolate chips in the baking aisle of your grocery store. This recipe calls for evaporated milk which is also in the baking aisle. It comes in a can and is with the sweet condensed milk. Lastly, you will need instant butterscotch pudding. Everything else you need for this recipe you will probably already have.
The toffee chips add a little extra crunch not found in traditional no-bake cookies. The butterscotch pudding and toffee chips blend together to give a caramel flavor.
You truly can’t go wrong with this twist on a traditional favorite!
Sometimes it is just so much fun to take a recipe and change it up some. Sydney and I are always looking for new ways of serving old favorites. It is just something that we enjoy doing!
The inspiration for this recipe came from Sasamiwonajinomoto.xyz. Thanks for the great idea!
It is always a great day to do some baking!
