Who doesn’t love a good road trip? And, what is a road trip without good food? Hmmm…can’t even imagine!Fortunately, we found a lot of good food to share with you. We love to experience the local food whenever we can. Asking the locals for their suggestions is the best way to get a great dining experience. We hit the food jackpot on this Oklahoma road trip! Writing this article and looking at the pictures of all this great food makes me want to go back and do it all over again!
First off is Napa Flats in Tulsa, OK. Definitely a great dining experience! We started with the Tomato Caprese. For our entrees we ordered the Filet Kabobs and their famous Wood Fired Pepperoni Pizza. Everything was excellent!
If you are a breakfast lover, this next restaurant was so much fun! Bramble Breakfast & Bar in Jenks, OK has a really upbeat atmosphere and great food. We started with a Bloody Mary, Khachapuri and then their buttermilk pancakes.
Nothing Bundt Cakes in Tulsa, OK has the most amazing bundt cakes that we have ever had! They are both delicious and beautiful. They come in a variety of flavors and sizes. Perfect for celebrations and parties. They are famous for their thick frosting petals on top of each of their cakes. The frosting is made with velvety cream cheese and real butter. If you would like something lighter they offer a drizzle frosting. Their store was so cute it almost made you want to work there. Check out some of these beauties!
Calling all pizza lovers!! We had some of the best pizza we have ever had at Andolini’s Pizzeria in Tulsa, OK. They have a great patio area, so we enjoyed our pizza outside in the beautiful weather! We started with the Fried Mozzarella Slices then we ordered our traditional pepperoni/pepperoni and sausage. Having some friends with us from Tulsa allowed us to try the Andolini’s Combination/White Pizza (ricotta & garlic). Absolutely divine! 🙂
If bagels are your thing, you will love Old School Bagel Café. The bagels, breakfast sandwiches and muffins were as delicious as the berry smoothie and coffee. They offer tons of options and it takes a few minutes to decide what to get. If you normally have a hard time deciding…beware! 🙂
If you love Mexican food like we do, then you will not want to miss out on trying Tres Amigos if you are ever in Tulsa, OK. Wow!! Tres Amigos did not disappoint. Everything was so good! The chips & salsa and fajitas were everything the locals said they would be. No Mexican meal is complete without fried ice cream. So yummy!
Next on the list of must tries is Redrock Canyon Grill in Tulsa, OK. Once again, we had dinner with Tulsa friends so you get to see an extra couple of meals! We would highly recommend trying this restaurant! The Wood-Fired Rotisserie Chicken is served with mashed red potatoes and sweet glazed carrots. Can’t describe how good this meal was! The Chicken Enchilada Platter, Shrimp Sautee and BBQ Pork Ribs with coleslaw and mashed red potatoes were very good as well. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we had a really nice evening.
These were some of our favorite restaurants on our road trip to Oklahoma. Would definitely recommend all of them and would go back a second (and third) time in a heart beat! I don’t know about you, but I am really hungry after looking at all of this awesome food! 🙂
Have a really great day and eat some really good food!
It was so funny having you two in town!!!!!
We had a great time also!!
