Sydney and I love to travel. We don’t care if it is a short road trip or a far away destination. Sydney and I just love to go! We had a great getaway weekend with my mom and sister. We went to Zionsville, IN and stayed at
Brick Street Inn to celebrate my sister’s 50th birthday. The four of us had a wonderful time!
The really fun part of this trip was that my mom and sister had never stayed at an inn, bed & breakfast or boutique hotel before. It was so much fun to introduce them to this great way of traveling.

Brick Street Inn Tour
The Brick Street Inn was absolutely charming! All four of us fell in love with this upscale boutique hotel right in the heart of downtown Zionsville. You literally step out the door of this inn and there is plenty of shopping, restaurants and entertainment to choose from. The best part is that you can walk to all of them! Another really awesome thing is that Main Street is actually a brick road! You don’t see this too often anymore.
The Brick Street Inn offers eight beautiful rooms to choose from. The decor is so warm and there is just this casual elegance that runs throughout the rooms and the inn. It is so quaint!
The Brick Street Inn was built in 1865 as a simple frame house. While retaining its historical character, it has been totally renovated and expanded to create comfort for guests to enjoy today.
You seriously want to just move in here and live! It is so comfortable and homey. The staff also lends to the air of home at the inn. They are so welcoming and friendly. Everyone seems to know exactly when to step in and help, but also when to respect your privacy and give you alone time. They were absolutely great!
Most of the rooms are on the second floor and at the top of the landing is a butler’s pantry. It is full of anything and everything you could possibly want! Coffee, hot chocolate, water, pop and ice is yours for the making. Trail mix, peanut butter pretzel bites, granola bars, cookies and popcorn is yours for the taking. Such a wonderful touch!
Whatever room you choose, we promise you will not be disappointed. They are just so warm and inviting.
As if this gorgeous boutique hotel wasn’t enough, you receive a breakfast card that allows you to enjoy many hot or cold items during the weekday. These range from yogurt parfaits or oatmeal to bacon & eggs or pancakes. On the weekends guests enjoy a weekend brunch. We had absolutely no idea what they had in store for us this next weekend morning. Check out all of this delicious food! It was beyond delicious!
My mom and sister absolutely loved the smaller feel of the boutique hotel and said they most definitely will be staying at smaller establishments in the future. They said the attention to detail and to the guests couldn’t be beat! We love when we can share our love for Support Local with people, especially our own family. 🙂
