We didn’t have much time in Arkansas, but we did manage to squeeze in a few great stops! We really need to go back and spend more time! There is so much to see and do.
We absolutely loved visiting Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs, AR. It was so beautiful and serene!
The Thorncrown Chapel opened on July 10, 1980. It sits upon over 100 tons of native stone and colored flagstone. It is breathtaking to see up close!
There are 425 windows and over 6,000 square feet of glass. The chapel has won numerous architectural awards. It is easy to see why!
I can’t even begin to describe to you what it is like to sit on a pew in this beautiful church. It is mesmerizing! I could sit here for hours and just soak in the majesty of this chapel!
